Quadratic Equations using the quadratic formula

Not all quadratic equations involve expressions which can easily be factorised or involve a square. Many quadratic equations can still be solved using the quadratic formula. NCEA students are able to use a graphical calculator to solve these. This is quite easy to do provided the equation is in the form `ax^2 +bx + c = 0`.
